The aim of the OCEPS Website is to inform, challenge young minds and to share our School's successes and achievements with the local community and beyond.

Young 'Swin' Ford first appeared in Old Swinford C. E. Junior School in 1976 as an information, news, challenge, response board in the School Library. It contained dates, children's work, puzzles, word searches, competitions, photographs and unusual items. 2008 [32 years later] it has developed with modern technology and can now be accessed by children, parents and visitors in their own homes and across the World. The www, 'e' mail and digital innovations have taken over from fulscap paper, sellotape, spirit 'Banda' sheets and the endless wait for the 'Kodak' roll to be developed. However, in 1976 we didn't have a plethora of Government directives, initiatives, league tables, prescribed teaching strategies or Ofsted. That's progress for you.  The OCEPS Webmaster
