At
Oldswinford we recognise the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, leading to
happier individuals who are ready and able to learn effectively. We
currently have several initiatives running to allow all members of the
school community to consider the issues, make informed decisions and
feel safe and secure. These include: · A wide range of after-school sporting clubs. · The adoption of a healthy food playtime snack policy. · The availability of water in all lessons. · The use of health professionals to give advice and guidance on issues including dental hygiene, growing up and emotions. · The use of sports professionals to encourage the children to take on healthy sporting pastimes. · The purchase of playtime sports equipment. |
