As part of their WW2 studies Year 6 were evacuated by steam train for the day. Severn Valley Rail hosted the experience which included air raid drill, gas mask drill and rationing. The whole group dressed in period costume with sandwiches wrapped in brown paper. It brought back memories for many of the senior citizens they met during the eventful day.
